Cookie Hide — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Cookie Hide (the app, its Safari content blocker and its Safari web extension) is built so that there is nothing to collect.

What we collect: nothing. Cookie Hide has no account, no sign-in and no analytics. It makes no network requests of its own; the only network traffic is Apple's StoreKit when you buy or restore the one-time unlock, which is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms.

What stays on your device: the list of sites where you switched Cookie Hide off, and the per-site journal of "Rejected" / "Hidden" entries shown in the extension popup. Both live only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, and are deleted when you delete the app.

What the extensions can see: the content blocker works with declarative rules and cannot read page content. The optional web extension runs on the pages you visit only to find and press a "reject" button in cookie consent dialogs; it does not read, store or transmit anything else. iOS shows a standard warning that Safari extensions can read page content; this is the system notice every extension gets.

"Banner still there" reports: tapping the button opens your mail app with a pre-filled message (site name and rules version). Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself. Emails go to hello@teroxai.com and are used only to fix the rules.

Children: the app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes: if this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new date.
